I’m Marg
Marg Brassington Holistic Practitioner and founder of Purposeful Life, shares her personal story of transformation and healing.
I’m a mother, a lover of horses and nature, a ballroom dancer and a former tennis player. I also have a keen interest in motorsport.
For many years, I proudly served as a Team Leader with the State Emergency Service in Adelaide. It gave me invaluable experience and a strong sense of dedication.
I cherish time spent in nature, embracing the calm of meditation and the beauty of quiet moments. Horses have been a lifelong companion. I regularly competed in dressage and hack shows, and also enjoyed branching out into halter classes with my quarter horse palomino colt.
I deeply understand your journey and offer a genuine, nurturing, and compassionate space. My sessions are built on trust, openness, and an unwavering commitment to your wellbeing. At Purposeful Life, you’ll find a safe, confidential environment that is non-judgemental and inclusive.

When you join my breathwork classes, rest assured, you will never be lying on a toxic yoga mat.
My mission is to support your journey toward health and holistic wellbeing in a sanctuary designed to foster personal growth and healing.
As a survivor with my own story of transformation, I am passionate about empowering you to rewrite your story and embrace a brighter, healthier future.
My Story – Marg Brassington Holistic Practitioner
In my early years, I worked in various clerical roles, but the country girl in me longed for a career outdoors, leading me to horticulture.
For nearly 20 years, I swapped pens and phones for a ride-on mower, whipper snippers, chainsaws and dirt under my nails. I maintained grounds at a local cemetery and served as groundskeeper for a private college.
Gardening was not just my career. In fact, it was my passion However, an unfortunate workplace injury led to redundancy, leaving me jobless and overwhelmed with anger. Losing the ability to work outdoors, a love and livelihood I cherished, was devastating.
During this difficult period, I reflected deeply on the hardships I had endured. These included years of bullying, sexual harassment, and relationships marked by emotional abuse and domestic violence.
Finding My Purpose
Then came the COVID-19 lockdown, which unexpectedly gave me the space and time to pause and reflect. This pivotal moment became the catalyst for transformation, allowing me to change my life for the better.
A Turning Point
Online and searching for a way to break free from a challenging headspace, I discovered NLP – Neuro Linguistic Programming, along with Time Line Therapy® and Hypnosis.
With little prior knowledge, I researched extensively and enrolled with a master trainer from the Tad James Company As a result, this decision marked a turning point, reigniting my sense of purpose and sparking real, positive change.
Fueled by a deep curiosity, I continued my journey of personal and professional growth.
I completed the Access Bars® course and the Access Energetic Facelift® training. From there, I earned certifications as an NLP Master Practitioner, Time Line Therapy Master Practitioner and Master Hypnosis Practitioner, again training under a master trainer from the Tad James Company.
Furthermore, my healing journey led me to become a Spinal Flow Practitioner drawn by my own experience, years of relentless back pain, with no success from mainstream modalities. This powerful modality deepened my understanding of body healing and I now live pain free.
Additionally, I am a globally certified Breathwork Instructor, empowering others to ease stress, enhance wellbeing, and reconnect with their breath in a safe and transformative space.
“Living Life On Purpose” has become my motto.
Why I Work Differently.
My own journey taught me that healing is rarely about one symptom, one diagnosis or one quick fix.
For years, I searched for answers. Like many people, I was given labels, advice and different approaches, yet I still felt like something was missing. What I discovered was that our physical, emotional and mental wellbeing are deeply connected.
This experience shaped the way I work today.
I don’t believe people are broken. I believe the body is constantly communicating with us through symptoms, sensations, emotions and patterns. Sometimes what appears to be a physical challenge can be influenced by stress, overwhelm or unresolved experiences. Other times, emotional struggles can be affected by what is happening within the body.
Rather than focusing on symptoms in isolation, I take a whole-person approach, helping clients explore the bigger picture and better understand the factors that may be contributing to their health and wellbeing challenges.
Ultimately, my role is not to fix people. My role is to listen, guide, educate and support them as they reconnect with their body’s innate ability to heal, adapt and thrive.
Because true wellbeing isn’t about chasing symptoms. It’s about understanding the whole person.
